Advancement Opportunities

From humble beginnings in the 1990s when the University established its first student-run business until the establishment of Flyer Enterprises in 2001, the corporate has been operated by students. Flyer Enterprises is completely comprised of undergraduate students, from the sales associates and managers to the Chief Executive Officer. Students make all the business decisions at every level of the organization, with limited advisement from the faculty advisor and answer to a Board of Directors.

Flyer Enterprises offers its employees several advancement opportunities. The corporation is made up of eight executives, seven managers, several assistant managers, directors of human resources, financial managers and several other positions. Associates and baristas have the opportunity to get involved as marketing assistants and social activities coordinators as well. At every level of the organization, students run the daily operations of the business, providing invaluable hands-on experience.
